The human body is pretty smart! If there is weakness or pain, the body will find ways to compensate in order to accomplish the task at hand. If these compensated movements are repeated enough, we are then simply reinforcing dysfunctional patterns. By applying the MELT Method(r) you will see how you can help guide clients out of their dysfunctional patterns before embarking upon a functional training program. This session will introduce the four Rs of MELT (reconnect, rebalance, release, rehydrate) and how you can employ this Hands-Off Bodywork(tm) method so your clients can sustain good function for a lifetime.
