The five modules include:

    1. An Overview of Applied Functional Science™ (AFS)

Expand your thinking and effectiveness by utilizing AFS, a process that integrates the physical, biological and behavioral sciences.

    2. Applied Functional Science Nomenclature: The Language of Movement

Learn a language system that identifies the environments in which movement occurs and systematically arranges it into a format that allows trainers to recognize, comprehend and speak the same language.

    3. Chain Reaction™ Skeletal: Real Bone Motion Creates Relative Joint Motion

Learn the difference between real bone motion and relative joint motion, and how to design effective training and rehabilitation programs with these concepts in mind.

    4. Chain Reaction Functional Muscle Function: Beyond the Anatomical Model

Expand your thinking beyond the anatomical. Open up endless functional possibilities for the assessment and training of individual muscles while seeing how they are integrated into the total body system.

    5. Chain Reaction Proprioceptors: The Organizers of Coordinated Movement

Take a look at the role proprioceptors play in coordinating functional movement, muscle activation and the development of training programs based on the characteristics of proprioceptors.

Lunch is on your own (1 hour).
