Sleep is an athlete’s natural steroid. During proper sleep, human growth hormone is secreted, which has dramatic effects on human performance. Proper sleep has been shown to improve reaction time, mood, recovery and sprint time, not to mention decreasing daytime fatigue. If professional athletes use sleep as a performance tool, your clients can, too. This compelling lecture will take you through the essentials of how to counsel client to improve their sleep and, by extension, their performance.
