The process of assessing and correcting imbalances can sometimes seem like a daunting task. There is currently so much information on the topic that it is hard to know where to begin. This 7-hour, hands-on preconference course will provide trainers with a structured approach to conducting static and dynamic assessments as well as corrective exercise design that will improve client function and quality of movement.
You will learn:
- The right questions to ask when a client is in pain
- How to perform a visual and hands-on assessment of the entire body
- How to design and implement a successful corrective exercise program
Earn up to 7 CEC hours. Lunch on your own.

Anthony Carey, MA, holds a master's degree in biomechanics and athletic training and owns Function First in San Diego, California. He is an internationally-recognized speaker on biomechanics, posture, and motor control and their relationship to musculoskeletal pain and function. Anthony is also a published author and the inventor of the Core-Tex™. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Time magazine and Oprah's “O” magazine.

Justin Price, MA, is the co-owner of The BioMechanics, in San Diego, California, a company that specializes in exercise alternatives for sufferers of chronic pain. He is also the creator of a remarkably successful method of pain reduction that combines life coaching and corrective exercise; a method he shares through his educational DVD series and CEC-approved internship programs. Justin was also named the 2006 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year.
