In this panel discussion you’ll hear from Shelia Franklin, executive director of the National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity, whose mission is to create collaborative partnerships that inspire and empower all Americans to lead more physically active lifestyles. Listen to Kenny Rogers, executive director of the California Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. He helped grow participation in the Governor’s Fitness Challenge from 10,000 participants to over 339,000 in 2009. Learn from Karen Jashinsky, MBA, founder and CEO of 02 MAX, in Santa Monica, California, who is redefining fitness for youth by empowering them to embrace exercise, nutrition and healthy living through the use of social media and innovative programs.
