608: Assessing Mobility as a Function of Stability

Time Block L1 - Saturday, 7:30-9:20am
Presented by: Greg Roskopf, MA
Session Format: Lecture

In this session, we will look at the nervous system's involvement in muscle tightness and decipher why many people do not achieve positive effects from stretching. Trainers will gain an understanding of how the nervous system regulates motion and how limitations in flexibility may be part of the body's protective mechanism. Learn why stability through motion is critical to affect long-term changes in flexibility. This session is a must-attend for any trainer frustrated by a lack of success with various flexibility programs.
