Exercise is physical stress applied to human physiology. The primary stress response to exercise is mediated by both the nervous and endocrine systems. The endocrine system produces the hormones that are directly responsible for controlling numerous normal bodily functions. This informative session will cover how the endocrine system responds to exercise and how to apply the variables of program design to elicit a favorable response for all clients.
