Looking for an organized, high energy, motivated, outgoing administer. Joining a team in the fitness professional field that is highly engaged with providing education to the leaders in the fitness industry. This position will support the General Manager, sales team and fitness division as needed.

This person should be ready to jump in with both feet and be good at keeping things organized. Love working on multiple projects at the same time and able to keep the ball rolling and have good communication skills. This role coordinates the activities between sales account managers, IDEA clients and prospects, and IDEA marketing, events, and publications personnel. They will be responsible for fielding, qualifying, and routing inbound sales inquiries.

This person should be marketing oriented and love working to help customers and internal teams achieve success. This position will handle time sensitive matters that will require the ability to handle and effectively manage through quick deadlines and multiple entities to get the job done effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication & Client Relations

  • Manage and provide communication and coordination with hundreds clients through the year (small businesses to fortune 500 companies) to ensure on-time delivery of materials for digital and print publications, custom emails, and events.
  • Actively interact with clients to determine interests, background, and history to fully understand the company needs. Provides creative ideas and solutions to enhance client experience and to build a trusted relationship with each individual.
  • Respond to a high volume of telephone/email inquiries with friendliness and professionalism, providing clients with expert information and resources.

Administration & Organization

  • Create and maintain a cohesive and productive work environment, ensuring timeliness and efficiency of a five-person sales team.
  • Day-to-day point of contact for all departments (Accounting, Internet Marketing, Event Programming, Marketing and Inspired Service).

Project & Event Management

  • Oversee marketing deadlines of all digital and print publications
  • Manage Brand e-Newsletter
  • Manage production timelines
  • Work in Conjunction with the Director of Special Events to manage ancillary events of IDEA World: BlogFest, Registration of Exhibitors, the IDEA Fitness Events App, and all event related sponsorship entitlements.
  • Manage a portion of the event related communication as it pertains to client deliverables and onsite fulfillment of sponsorship entitlements.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate projects, anticipates changes or needs, sets new priorities, follows through and meets deadlines.
  • Routes contracts, logs leads, screen inbound calls.
  • Performs data entry task into the Salesforce program.
  • Assigns leads to appropriate account managers.
  • Manages the IDEA mail list.
  • General Assistant needs for the General Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

- HTML/Silverpop skills

- Experience in creating Media kits, video, collateral, and work on a full or micro site

- Establishes appropriate course of action for self and colleagues to accomplish goals; effectively prioritizes and makes appropriate use of resources; sets and meets realistic target dates.

- Properly interprets and applies company, division and/or department policies/procedures to job responsibilities.

- Experience with media vehicles (print, internet, digital, and live events) preferred

- Intangible Skills include the ability to work independently, self-confidence and assertiveness

- Must be fluent with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

- Experience working with SalesForce.com extremely helpful

QUALIFICATIONS

Need to learn quickly, comprehend, and represent IDEAs unique promotional services.

Bachelors Degree from accredited university or college, marketing degree preferred

Must be able to handle large volume of activities and manage evenly through stressful situations.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and ideally have experience with SalesForce.com
