Because our bodies are made up of 55-65%, water is the only drink that we must have to survive.I’m sure you already know the three things I mentioned.  However, you may not know some of the other benefits. In today’s blog, it is my goal to share with you five other benefits of drinking water because they are important.

I would mention that some hydration comes from your food (like the 9-13 servings of fruits and vegetables you should be eating everyday) and some from the liquids you drink (straight water and other beverages). Empathetically, I might quote a company that manufactures high tech body composition testing equipment who use total body water readings and admit to using a suboptimal average in their calculations because virtually everyone is dehydrated to a degree.

Water

There are a lot of types of drinks to choose from on the market today. Some of them are high in calories and sugar like Frappacinos. Some believe that the sports drink is a great alternative even though most people that workout on a regular basis do not need the amount of sodium and sugar that those drinks provide. Then there is the ever popular diet soda/pop that people will consume thinking that they are saving themselves calories, when they are really doing more harm then good. At the end of the day, the best liquid you could put in your body is water.
