Am I addicted?  Now, I have struggled with the typical examples of addiction in my past, and I have overcome them.  So I started doing a little research, and I found that there are theories regarding positive addiction.

Personal Trainers

If you wonder if investing in a personal trainer is worth the price, I would have to say yes.  Of course I am a personal trainer BUT when I go to the gym and watch some people lift weights or doing exercises all wrong, I just want to go up to them and correct them.When you are just starting out in the gym, I would recommend you hire a personal trainer even if it is one session.  If you are doing the exercise wrong, you could not only hurt yourself but you are not getting the benefits from the exercise.Think before you lift and you will thank me :)

I have a friend; let's call him Derek. Derek was an avid athlete and spent his fair time in the gym in University. The guy wasn't ripped but had some muscle. Derek is brilliant. So much so that he landed a 6-figure job directly out of University in New York. Fast-forward 5 years and he's making $500,000+ a year.

 Hell ya, or shall I say heck ya, for all the appropriate peeps out there. so 1 hour and 10 minutes later I finished my 35 min walk/run session, plus weights. I am trying to go back to my older routine of heavier lifting, Whaaaaaatttt? some will say, why? the answer my dear is that  I seem to do better with this training for my body type. I teach 4 classes a week but its not enough especially since Im getting a wee bit older.  . I am writing this blog to keep my self accountable.

ok so im on the computer of course diddle dalying around. I need to get up so i can workout my over exausted, non sleeping body. Anyone know what that feels like? I am going to move now and put some good sound on and get moving. I hope I can push though an hour of circuit training. I am on a mission to loose about 6 lbs before I am in a bikini everyday. wish me luck on the start of my new journey.

Today and from now on, pack your gym bag the night before you go to work and put it in aplace where you almost trip over it! You will be less likely to forget your training session that you have already scheduled!
