Endurance: The key to golf consistency

I've talked about the five physical pillars of a good golf swing before: flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power. In previous weeks, I've talked about strength, balance, and flexibility, and this week I'll address endurance, and what you can do to improve yours.

Pilates for a Happy Back and a Rockin' Core

It’s a tough world out there: sitting through long commute and work hours, standing and walking on hard surfaces. Faced with these daily work/life balance challenges, it’s not surprising that at least 80% of Americans will experience back pain at least once in their lives.

Training and Racing Lessons Learned in 2014

They say you don’t learn as much from when things go right as when they go wrong. YES, YOU CAN DRINK TOO MUCH WATER!

This has become my rally for the past several summers...as the temps start to rise, the need for people to drink more also rises. But many people also resort to drinking more than their bodies need just to help keep hunger at bay--true hunger cannot be squashed by drinking more water. Hunger is your body's cue telling you that it needs fuel--food. Thirst is your body's cue of telling it needs water--fluids.
