Life Mastery: You CAN do ANYTHING!

This six-minute video below was my first Toastmasters speech I gave last week, so I wanted to share the last time I practiced before presenting.

Your Worth It. So am I.

A mother and fitness professional often have two very similar characteristics, selfless and challenging. No matter where you start, how prepared you think you are or how much knowledge you attain, occasionally we come to a stop or a loss as to what we do next. It may not be true of many, but I can speak from experience.  

Challenge brings Change

In life we are faced with many challenges whether we see them coming or not. Sometimes we see them coming and we high tail it the other direction! It is best not to force ourselves to meet the challenge but rather tackle it head on when we are ready. So, how do we know we are ready? Very good question. You do realize there is no magical answer here right? No one size fits all solution. We spend a lot of our time comparing ourselves to the people that surround us and send negative messages to our inner being. We need to remember that we are not all built the same.

Healthy Habits Challenges 2014 - Abs and Water

I’m trying something new. Some of my clients asked for a challenge, so I created Healthy Habits Challenges for the rest of this year. The first challenge starts this month. We’re doing a 21-day AB Challenge and a Water Challenge. Why not a 30 day challenge? Because it takes 21 days to create a habit and most people fall off after 2 weeks, so let’s see if 3 weeks works.I’ve posted the 21-Day AB Challenge here and on my other social media sites:

Bridging the Gap between You and Your Personal Best.

Day 7 of our Personal Best 30 Day Challenge and you are still on the path.  That in itself is a victory!  The energies that inundate our daily lives; mental, psychological, physical, biological, hereditary, social, environmental, ethical, political and metaphysical, all have positive and negative forces competing for victory. 

Just Make it Work

Day 5 of our Personal Best 30 Day Challenge and my attempt at eventual transformation has proven more difficult than anticipated.  ARGG!  I am the leader!  I’m the one that has thrown down the gauntlet!    Am I going to let this challenge make minced meat out of me? I have stayed true to my 30 minutes of evening meditation however; my day game is way off.  Ordinarily, I wouldn’t beat myself up about this however; my goal is to augment my spiritual acuity, not redistribute it.

 There’s always such hope for great change at the beginning of a New Year.  However, most of us feel like we can begin to improve our lives tomorrow.  After all, it’s only the 10th day of the year.  We still have 355 days to get it right.
