This pumpkin pie was a treat given to me by one of my Pilates clients after my first lumpectomy last November. And yes, it's not a cancer fighting food. It's a celebratory one. "Once in a while a little treat is ok," said my doctors and nurses when I called them about this little slice of pie. Hey, I didn't want cancer again. So this is a case where I was told, it is okay to have your pie and eat it too.
The 79 Year YOUNG LADY IN THE BACK ROW...
I'm always so blown away, uplifted and just humbled every time I teach my Tuesday classes at Kaman Senior Fitness in Hilo. There is never a dull moment that these amazing new frenz show me what LIFE IS REALLY ALL ABOUT.
As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, I realize that I was inspired more than once over the past thirty days, by stories like the one I am about to share with you. People like Jill, the shining star of this blog post, can teach us all a bit about what it means to engage in our own wellness story. Read on and see if you agree.
