Who are the top 5 professionals who have combined physical therapy and fitness?
I'm a student working on my Doctor of Physical Therapy and love the prevention and fitness aspect. I want to know the top 5 in the country who have done what I've done.

I myself am a very big fan of physical therapy. However, I like to take the practices of physical therapy and put them to a more proactive approach. I do a lot of research of in the physical therapy department here at the University of South Florida as well as work with the National Posture Institute. I believe you should look into the National Posture Institute. It really encapsulates what you seem to be interested in. It incorporates a lot of functional biomechanics in developing and structuring exercise programs. I think you would be impressed with it. If you have any questions let me know.

Thank you Jason. I did look into the National Posture Institute and am very interested. Please keep in touch.

look at Gray Cook, Gary Gray, Shirley Sahrman, and Thomas Myers, these are the first too come to my mind. I know Cook and Gray are therapists but not sure about the other ones.

I just read a great article by Mary Wanless with Thomas Myers which prompted me to check out his website (anatomytrains.com) and articles on the site. He makes so much sense! I am trying to get into one of his workshops in the San Francisco area.
