Question asked by Beverly Hosford 350 days ago
Where do you see the industry heading in the next year? 5 years? 10 years?
What trends are you observing? What is it that clients desire from us?

Trends I see continue to build on the baby boomer population being eager to stay fit and active. Private or small group training emphasizing core strength and eye-hand coordination is popular for my tennis players and golfers. My clients want me to give detailed feedback on posture, body alignment, and even breathing so they can remain at the "top" of their game.

Beverly, that is a great question you posed. If preventable disease continues to increase at its current pace, I can envision greater collaboration between physicians and fitness professionals.

I see more and more fusions of different types of workouts.
Also, I see more and more fitness professionals specializing in more formats. To increase job opportunities, we have no choice but to broaden our education and experience.
Some of us have been on board about professionals working together and not working beyond our scope of practice.
