Where can I find these new "toe running shoes"?
I heard they are really great and give you the same benefits as running barefoot. Is this true? What are the pros/cons? Cost? Best brands? Best distributors?

Some fitness professionals swear by them. They fit your feet like a glove and can be worn for various athletic activites. If you are interested in finding out more information, check out www.vibramfivefingers.com. They are the leading brand. The website should help you find the nearest distributor. Prices average between $75-$125.

Their called Vibram 5-fingers and, I'd suggest you check sporting goods stores in your area before purchasing... or, check the site as stated above and find a location near you. Currently, here in SoCal, pretty much every sporting goods store carries them.
Try them on, walk in them. Don't purchase from the site. They've come up with some delicious new styles yet, they're not made for all feet.
If you're not walking barefoot a lot, or running barefoot, go slowly then slow down and break in your feet. They've most likely lost a lot of padding and support from shoes and if you go too quickly you could injure your feet.

I run barefoot every chance I get. The 5 fingers are amazing at keeping the pointies out of your feet; especially on trail runs. Most sports stores are carrying them now.
