The importance at looking at the whole body (up and down the chain) rather than just the joint in question.

I would talk with them about the integration of the role of personal trainers in the health industry and more directly about referrals to qualified personal trainers. I think that what is really missing in this industry is it is not common place for medical professionals to refer directly to personal trainers, its time to bridge the gap. The ACSM campaign Exercise is Medicine is trying to change this for the better.

Strength and conditioning as it relates to the reduction of the risk of injury (i.e. prevention as opposed to rehabilitation).

I agree with Ms Singleton! Also, more about how conditioning helps the brain, and it's release of hormones, more than most docs think.

I would do a demo of the MELT Foot Treatment. In just a few minutes the participants would feel that their joints had more support and that their bodies were better aligned. MELT helps heal chronic pain - no matter where it is in the body - by stimulating fluid production and movement in the connective tissue network, enhancing the body's buoyant support system. Once that's in place, any kind of exercise is more effective and less stressful to the body.

Somebody told me to check this place out!

How to best serve the patient/client doctors, physical therapists and personal trainers need to work together. There needs to be communication between all involved in the patient/client's care so they can recooperate best and prevent long-term injuries and pain.

About stressing the importance of proper posture during typical/daily functional motion.
