What will be a futuristic business relating to health and business in a developing country like India?
I am a sport and fitness enthusiast but working in IT industry. I wish to do a job or start my own business in health/fitness/sport field. I live in Goa, India and wonder if anyone from the developed countries can suggest me a business that has good future in countries like India where the health and fitness awareness is on the lower side.

It’s difficult to know what might work in India. However there’s one thing that could get you government subsidies – kids’ physical education. Since you are in IT you could set up a site where physical education teachers create online and offline fitness programs for kids. You can later extend that service to fitness professionals who could create programs for their clients.

Wow now this is a big question. As you live in Goa, you may be the best resource to answer that question. Wikipedia tells me Goa is the richest state in India with a best quality of life rating by the National Commission on Population. Perhaps an exploration of the Goan people is the key to a fitness niche? What determines those quality of life markers set by the Commission? What do the Goan's value most when it comes to their physicality, dance, music? Will you target Goan's or expats? Who are the expat community? What do you personally offer as a sport and fitness enthusiast, how do you want to offer it, one to one, from a computer, how knowledgable are you?

How about creating a facebook page geared toward people who share similar interests? In this way, you all can develop a think tank and work from there.
I wish you the best.
I wish you the best.
