What was your favorite class at this years IDEA world and why?
There were so many great classes and so little time to attend them all that I was thinking about buying some extra sessions on DVD, but I would like some feedback on which ones were most informative.

One of my objectives at this year's IDEA World convention was to learn more about the ACE IFT Model. It was very informative and solidified the understand that I have of the model.
I also needed to earn CECs for my STOTT Pilates certification. Sally Belanger's breast cancer workshop was informative. I did enjoy that very much.

I also attended the ACE IFT courses. Did you receive the info on how to complete the course for CEC's?

The class that I enjoyed the most was the very last session of the conference: Yoga-inspired stretch by Jay Blahnik. Jay is a great instructor, and this class had such a great flow to it. Unfortunately, this workout is not available on DVD (I asked him because I would have purchased it myself).
The lecture that I found the most interesting was by Roberta Anding on Sarcopenia - age-related muscle loss. I am not sure whether the session was recorded.
A third session which was excellent was by Kathleen Murakami on foot anatomy, named 'Sole to Soul'. I definitely remember that this sessions was recorded.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Cederic X. Bryant lecture on the Ace IFT Model:Training Strategies for clients for Chronic Health Conditions. Being the last class of the day, i was tired. His smooth flowing knowledgeable answers serve to grip me to my seat to the end. He spent quite a time on Diabetes which was great since its quite a 'dangerous' disease. His solutions for control were great as well.
What other diseases did he mention besides diabetes? Did he cover any digestive or nervous system disorders?

Hi Marsha, It really was called Ace IFT Model: Training Strategies for clients with Chronic Health Conditions. I edited it in my answer. Other chronic Health Conditions he mentioned were Dyslipidemia, Hypertension, Heart Disease and Metabolic Syndrome. I'd say he didnt cover any major nervous system disorder and digestive sytem disorders. We however did not get a handout, but his email to get all the info. Im going to email him for presentation, I can forward to you if you like.
