My desire to keep learning! As with everything, the fitness industry and our understanding of it are constantly evolving. So staying current with information and real world application is essential.
There are so many great resources and creative ways of thinking out there... go get 'em!

"My desire to keep learning" Could not have put it better myself! Great response. If only everyone had this attitude this industry would be propel so far and health would be a necessity rather than option or chore!

I think about people who do not take care of themselves and see how they are suffering. It makes me so elated to teach someone who is willing to do something healthy. I tell my classes/clients that their hard work is not only helping them, it's helping those around them. Fit people are happy people and that makes the world a better place. That's my motivation.

Personal and professional pride and reputation?? (just kidding...sort of:)

Seriously: I want my sessions with clients to be mutually rewarding. I want to teach them a few things, and allow them to teach me some stuff. Also, since I tend to be more bubbly than most of my clients, I figure I can offer them some energy and enthusiasm to feed off, especially at 6 am! And of course, I want to help build a world of healthier, happier people; one person at a time if that's what it takes.

Sorry for the beauty pageant tone... But that's how I truly feel....

I am inspired by a saying my Dad used to tell me when I was young. He used to say:

"You can't give away what you don't own."

I feel inspired by that statement as it moves me to continue to learn and assimilate what I learn so that always have something to share.

Susan,

A few things always keep me energized...

1. Seeing a client reach a goal
2. Meeting and helping new people constantly
3. Learning new things and trying new routines/techniques
4. I thrive on exercise and being active, and I could not ask for more than to be able to take my passion and make it my profession
