I believe that information can be found in the latest IHRSA Health Club Consumer Report.

Do you mean members of a gym that actually use the gym? Its quite different from facility to facility and state to state, or even month to month but, the local average here in Chattanooga is likely around 28%. Gets bigger in more fit consious areas I'm sure.

Hi Sara,
Like Andrew said, you can find this information in the IHRSA Health Club Consumer Report.

http://www.ihrsa.org/consumer-report/

According to the 2011 edition, 57% of members use their health clubs at least once a week. The overall average is 97.5 days per year.

Hope that helps!
