What is the difference between PVD and PAD?
obstructive blood flow
The term 'Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)' is often used synonymously with the term 'Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)'. However, PVD is broader in scope and includes the diseases of the entire circulatory system outside the brain and the heart, not just the arteries.
