Hello Again Helen
,
Roughly 3.5-4.0 grams of protein per egg white would be 21 to 40 grams of protein per day.
I use a simple body weight formula for protein consumption (not knowing details about your client) but, if your client weighs 130lbs...I divide body weight in half and this would be the protein in grams per day ie: 65 grams, then divide that by 5 (at least five small meals per day) equals 13 grams per meal.
I consume 10 to 12 egg whites just for breakfast everyday. And I use a body weight ratio of 70% (my weight X .70 = protein in grams)
I Hope This Helps!

Hello Helen,
Do you know how much protein your client is getting from other food sources? I like to get nutrients from a variety of sources. I assume the egg whites is for a protein source.
I also use the same quick formula as Michael: divide the body weight in half for the daily grams of protein.
Take care.

I would suggest referring her to a nutritionist.

The egg white is just another form of protein. It is obviously her fav choice.
If she is exceeding her needed protein intake is the bigger question. Woman can benefit from a lil' extra as long as water intake stay regular.
I offer thought on this to some of the woman I assist. After a body composition assessment I can offer for them ways to manage caloric & nutrient intake more effectively.
Personal belief is relative...make sure you don't rain on her parade but come across as concerned, just make sure you are informed correctly when expressing those views.

You mean "too".
I'd say do some math based on their caloric requirements around gender, age, energy use and goals.
