What is holding you back from getting on a regular exercise plan?

Workout Routine

Most people struggle keeping to their work out plan or don't even have one. There are many different reasons for this and I would like to find out what these are to be able to help more people get over their obstacles and live healthier.

Its been my observation that most people hava a hard time finding a middle ground for intensity and reward. If a workout is too hard then they will burn out, but if it is too easy then they will lose interest due to not making gains fast enough. People are always over eager to start but that disapates quickly then then it seems like torture to them.

In my experience, 9 times out of 10, people just need a person to workout with because they don't like doing it alone.

It's not necessarily that people lack the knowledge or skill or ability, they just for some reason or another cannot workout alone. That's where trainers can come in handy! A trainer can help you maximize your workout. A trainer will sometimes workout with you. A trainer is there with you when you workout so someone is seeing how responsible you are and how well you are doing!..

I think most people need reassurance that what they're doing is right and ok for them. A lot of people see working out as unnatural because it can involve weird movements. A great trainer can make working out seem natural by applying real life scenarios to the workout. Of course, we all know that! =)

I have recently developed a pinched nerve in my neck and have had to change my plan greatly. Bounding movements are the worst and I'm training for a run.

Nothing holds me back personally, I workout everyday
Most people don't exercise because of time restraints (or so they say)
or injuries as Stephen has said.
I have found that joining a bootcamp is a great motivator!
