I have to put together a compensation package for an offer I received. My roll would be developing, launching, and administering an entire health program (training, meal planning, weekly check-ups, documentation, business operations) for a local doctor looking to expand his services. I currently make $45-50/hour through my own training business. I just need a ballpark figure from other trainers who may perform in a similar capacity. Thanks so much!
I know that this doesn't give you an exact answer, but sometimes by asking yourself a few pertinent questions, you answer your own question. With a program such as the extensive one that you describe, I don't think that anyone else can really give you a $$ figure to answer your question. You will need to investigate a bit; figure what your services are worth; estimate how much time you will spend; and determine what you need to make to be happy.
I hope that this helps and CONGRATULATIONS on such a potentially wonderful opportunity!
Will the doctor negotiate?
You could possibly base your pay on volume and or percentage of the total of clientele?
This sounds like it could be time consuming, so it would be great to be able to re-negotiate once you get a sense of your true time commitment and responsibilities.
