Question asked by Doug Sklar 133 days ago
Two questions regarding the Crosscore 180 & War Machine.
1) Is the only difference the colors? 2) How easy is it to lengthen and shorten them? As easy as a TRX?
I'm considering buying one, but I'm concerned about the transition time when changing the length. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Doug,
The War Machine is marketed to Military and MMA. The CrossCore180 is marketed to coaches, athletes, rehabilitation clinics and so on. Basically they are the same product with different marketing targets. Shortening the length of the rope is easy and you only have to do one side. The rope adjustment is done with a single "Lanyard Hitch" knot and is explained in both the manual and DVD. The good thing about adjusting on one side is the handles always level themselves out as apposed to a system using two adjustable straps where you have to make sure they are exact on both sides. When doing vertical knee raises or pull ups no rope adjustment is needed. This is accomplished by simply clipping the handle carabiners into the top of the pulley housing. Hope that helps.
