Hi Jennifer,
I recently took the NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification and recommend it very much. It goes into great detail of the anatomy of the digestive system as well as the food and found sources as well.
NASM also provides an excellent online tutorial in addition to the textbook. If you choose to go that route, one word of advice: the textbook is available online, but to me reading in front of a computer for hours on end is not the way to go. I bought the physical textbook from Amazon where it a LOT cheaper.
Hope this helps.

Hello Jennifer,
I agree with Karin, a book in the hand is much better for studying. Not to mention, portable and available during power outages.
Good luck with the nutrition studies.

I have nutrition certification through ISSA and Precision Nutrtion. I did both online and feel they are excellent programs.
