Smart Fitness University Online? good or bad

Online Education

Hey fellow fitness Professionals,
I had a quick question. I'm a fitness director at a small chain of clubs in upstate New York and I was contacted by our old NASM rep. She now works for Smart Fitness University Online www.smartfitnesscenter.com
How it was presented to me was that it is a NCCA accredited certfication program. They sell it for a monthly price and you can have as many of your staff get certified as you want for no additional money. They also offer business training with Jeffrey Gitomer. All of which costs you nothing more than the monthly contract price, somewhere around $200 a month for 24 months.
It SEEMS to be like a good move, but I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them for good or for bad. All constructive criticism appreciated.
Thanks,
Jay

Hello Jason, I asked the same question a few days ago.

**Question link: http://www.ideafit.com/answers/has-anyone-taken-the-smart-fitness-univer...

Our facility encourages us to take the exam for around $100-$125. Good for two years with follow up CEU's.

Have not heard about the $200 a month contract for 24 months ($4800.00?)
That seems a bit pricey. At the price I would look elswhere.

You can respond if you so desire, at the link provided above.

Sincerely,
Michael

I briefly looked at the intro page
The guy was a bit overzealous

Can you compare this to what other organizations have to offer and which one will provide you with the best educational experience possible?

Ultimately it comes down to personal motivation and desire in this business.
