Renting out a trampoline park for an hour to host classes
I would like to hire a few trainers to host a fitness class at a local trampoline park. What is some advice on talking to the building owner, what would be a fair price to rent the place for an hour every morning during non working hours? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Assuming you have all your legal ducks in a row...
this still depends on many things:
what you want to take away,
the area's economy,
how many students are signed up,
how many drop ins to allow,
will drop ins try to get free sessions,
how many trainers are working,
There is really no such thing as non working hours, either.
Do you have a business plan? You may do better to talk to a business manager who will be able to help you figure out all the details.
Add up all your projected costs and what you want to earn.
Be upfront with the building owner about all activity; do not keep anything hidden; be flexible, yet firm on your bottom line.
Good luck with this opportunity.
Make sure you have a copy of your liability insurance and CPR
If you are hiring the instructors, they too need insurance.
Present a professional resume
As for price, this is something that can be negotiable and with proper homework, you ought to be able to offer what the going rate is in your area.
I would factor in your costs and time, the price you will charge and the fee paid to the trainers.
