Ok - I did it...newly desinged website now available! What do you think?!
A little while ago, I asked for some constructive criticism on my old website for gym software... I received some great objective feedback - thank you!
If you get a moment, check out my new design and format and let me know what you think...
It is still: http://www.gyminsight.com/
I also posted on my blog with some questions for discussion Part II: "Which is better...Personal Trainers and Compensation!"
Best in Health,
like it a lot. Well structured and good navigation.
I just got a little something, and that may be the way it is on my computer: on your home page, I only see 'WHO ARE YOU' and have to scroll down to see the options. If the master banner was a little narrower, then I would be able to see my options and would not need to scroll (I hate scrolling). If you put the 'new business' and so on at the top of the picture, I could click on there.
I also noticed that the 'free trial' is only at the bottom of the home page. I would make that a tab as a separate page.
I went on the blog and needed to look for a while until I found the home page again. If possible, I would make that consistent with the rest of the web site.
I realize that I am a little picky. Overall, you did a great job.
I agree with Karin Singleton's observations. The master banner could definitely be smaller.
Does spelling count? Is it important to you?
About answering the blog questions referencing the independent contractor: I was given permission to bring in non-members to the gym. The client pays me, I give a percentage, agreed on, to the gym owner.
Your website looks very nice and is easy to navigate.
I feel that the images you chose for underneath “Who Are You” represent your three target markets well. I will say, however, that when I re-size my browser’s window in Google Chrome the captions for those images are no longer visible. Have you done this intentionally?
I agree with Karin’s statement regarding the location of your ‘free trial’ offering. If it were my site, I’d probably place it at the top of my homepage in addition to her recommendation of making that “a tab as a separate page.”
Please feel free to reach out to me for additional feedback if you’d like. Otherwise, best of luck with Gym Insight!
Wishing You Great Success!
It looks great!
