Nasm women fitness specialist or weight loss specialist?
Has anyone take Nasm's Women's fitness specialist course? If so was it worth? I also see they have a weight loss specialist course called WLS. Are either of these worth taking? I thought they might be good ceu's to add but I'm not sure. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
I just finished the NASM WFS course. It was worth it to me. My motivation for taking it was that I now teach classes where I may encounter women pre- or postnatal. Since I have no personal experience with pregnancy and usually train older adults, it was a field where I needed more knowledge.
I cannot talk to the WLS but have noticed that ACE recently also launched specialty certifications one of them called Weight Management Specialist.
