Hi Jenette!
Here at IDEA, we have our members’ liability insurance handled by our partner, Fitness and Wellness Insurance Agency. If you would like policy information or a quote, you can contact them at (877)438-7459 or email info@fitnessandwellness.com.

Hi Jenette. Also, usually the agency that issues your certification has a liability insurer that they recommend or otherwise have an arrangement with that may offer you a discount for being certified through that agency. You may want to check that option out as well.
Good luck!

Hi Jenette,
having insurance is absolutely mandatory when you have your own business. So if you teach Zumba classes outside of a club and in your own name, you definitely need it. And the IDEA insurance is great for that.
But keep in mind that clubs should cover your insurance needs when you teach under their program direction.
Just another thought ...

I don't know if you will be able to get insurance through IDEA if you don't have an NCCA accredited credential, however, I do know that Zumba uses K&K Insurance Company.
