Question asked by Sara Foster 705 days ago
Is there a fitness app out there for either iPhone, iPad or Android to help track clients, etc?
There are individual apps for nutrition, calorie counting, and a few for specific exercises; but are there any that combine all these aspects? I haven't found many apps with exercise libraries that have more than about 15 exercises

There's an app called The Training Notebook. Looks to be created by an actual personal trainer.
Its less a reference guide and more for trainers who already have many clients and need to organize all their information from one place. Backs up your data and have training timer. Some of the trainers at my gym have it.

You guys should try The Training Notebook it's been a great tool for me and it's consolidated all the paper work I use to carry around it has PAR-Q, body assessment, timer and you can keep track of all your clients training programs.

Fitness HD. Does not allow for the use of more than one client. IFit is good, but also has its limitations

There is an app called App for trainers on Ipad only no Iphone that is pretty good.
Pump one also makes a decent app that tracks clients and allows them to check in with you.
Last if you are fairly savy bento box or filemaker pro are both good apps to make your own client tracking database.

I use SOAP Notes for iPad and iPhone -- it's designed for trainers, therapists, chiropractors, etc.
I like the stamps feature, that lets me pre-write phrases I use a lot (which is great for specific exercises) and it keeps everything organized easily and professionally.
Definitely worth checking out.
