Both shrimp and mahi mahi have great health benefits.

Mahi Mahi is an great sourse of Selenium (40mcg), Niacin (10mg) and Vitamin B6 (0.88mg). One cooked, three-ounce piece of Mahi Mahi provides 20 percent or more of the Recommended Daily Value of those nutrients, based on guidelines set by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Shrimp are relatively high in cholesterol (about 200 milligrams in 3.5 oz) but they are loaded with protein, vitamin D, vitamin B3, and zinc.

Fish is better. You would want to choose fish that don't swim on the bottom & eat trash (something to definitely think about since the corexit scare from the oil spill) at the bottom of the sea! Fish that eat other protein, i.e. smaller fish are best.

While the nutritional value of Mahi may be as stated above by Kelli, it is higher in mercury than shrimp see http://www.nrdc.org/health/effects/mercury/guide.asp.
