Is a certification from the Boxing Fitness Institute recognized as a widely recognized legitimate certification?

I would find training for a boxing fitness certification at a reputable boxing gym. In my opinion, cyber training can't replace in-person training in the essential concepts of boxing such as proper mechanics, stance, footwork, delivery, and functionality.
Just a word of caution ...there are several "boxing" certification programs out there so make sure you do your research before committing to any of them. If you are going to spend your time and money on something make sure it is valuable and that it will make you look like you know what you are doing.

I took one of their certification..The Strength Training Instititute, and enjoyed the course. If you have a boxing background then I would go for it, if not then find one that is in person.

Is it WIDELY recognized? No. Is it bad to get? No. Is it necessary for obtaining work as a boxing instructor? No. But, if its what motivates you to present yourself to others as a knowledgable professional then, should you get it? Yes.

I am always skeptical of any certification that I can obtain that I don't feel like I am an expert in.
To clarify that point, I have no background in boxing training. Yet the website claims: "Get Certified today as a Boxing Fitness Trainer. It is fast, simple, easy."
To me that is a red flag. Becoming certified should not be "fast, simple, easy." Certification should require education and experience. I may be able to obtain my boxing certification today, but I'd be the first to tell you that I am not yet qualified to use boxing as a training method.
I would recommend (if you haven't already) training at a boxing gym and researching other certs that are not "fast, simple, easy."
Just my two cents.
