I am MAD DOGG Certified and I have to have a minimum of 14 Star points every two yrs to keep my cert. current...within the two yr. period if i earn a total of 40 STAR then I am considered Lifetime so I really don't know a way around this one unless the club is not strictly all MAD DOGG certified, which my club is not. So as long as all cyling instructors are current with their CEC's or CEU's.

Hi Charmaine, My name is Kylie Realmuto. I am a Programs Support Specialist at Mad Dogg Athletics. Mary is correct. You do need to earn a minimum of 14 STAR points every two years to maintain your certification. 14 STAR points and the renewal fee are the requirements for certification renewal. If you are a current SPIN member, at the time of your renewal, your renewal fee is waived.
When you reach 40 STAR points you no longer have STAR point requirements for renewal and you also no longer have renewal fees. Your certification will still expire every two years, but renewing will be as easy as logging into your Spinning.com account, clicking 'Renew' and verifying your information :-)
Kind regards,
Kylie
