I've seen strobe, disco and blacklights used in varied combinations in some class formats, typically for special events. BTS Groove and Zumba are two formats I've seen special lighting used in class (no experience with Les Mills) - lends to the "club" or "party" atmosphere these formats foster. Again, it's usually for special events, charity/fundraisers or launch parties instead of an everyday occurrence.

Hello Patty,
Possibly...a special stage event, shooting a video or some type of promotion with an accent strobe to catch the eye?
I cant imagine functioning in a dark environment with a strobe light..if that were the case. Not recommended...

Sincerely,
Michael

Bad idea! The visual-spatial work in many ways during exercise, especially functional exerecise. The strobe would only disoreient them.

Hi Patty. I've not heard of this but I agree with Stephen (awful). I can't imagine that everyone in a group class would want this, and that it could cause some sensory problems with certain members in the group so why "go there?" Hmm, sometimes "change" for "change sake' is NOT such a great idea.
