If you were to create a wellness space in your organization, what items would it include?

The answer is simple. Visit any health or wellness area and bear witness to the most USED equipment there. Treadmills, elipticals, and recumbant bikes! I know these aren't the most beneficial machines for training but, the are the ones that people use MOST on their own. That makes them the most beneficial investment. After that, keep it uncluttered and beige. Not the color but the feeling; like a day at an uncrowded beach. That way when it is packed, it won't feel as cramped.

A wellness space is a great idea! I would think it would have one of those water fountains-either a wall one or a smaller one you plug in. Also, I think it would have soft lighting, earthy tunes and lounge chairs. Plants and some magazines or books are other options in this space.

One has to find out what the employees are interested in. This is easily done through sending out a survey. Based upon the results one can determine what would work best within their organization.
