I would like to learn to meditate, do you have any video recommendations for beginners who want to learn to meditate
I have learned over the years to multi-task and the need to constantly make lists on paper or in your head on what needs to get completed. I have not learned to clear my mind and as I start menopause, I only sleep ~4 hours a night. I am hoping that through meditation I can learn to clear my mind and improve my sleep.
meditation is one way to start, and I have a link here to a web site which I often recommend to friends: http://www.collagevideo.com/searchresults.aspx?type=all&search=meditatio....
You do not mention whether you are currently engaged in an exercise program. To many people, exercise in its many forms is also a stress reliever and sleep inducer. I am a MELT instructor, and many of my students in classes and personal clients have reported improved sleep as a result of regular MELT.
I hope you will be able to steer yourself on a better course and wish you a good night's rest.

Also, sometimes thyroid and or estrogen contribute to the inability to sleep and clear your mind
Think about having a complete physical and blood panel
You mention a video; but, may I please suggest a meditation lesson with a person? You will gain so much more, by learning something that is this important to you, the right way the first time.
The other great suggestions will add to your new experience.
