Hi Chuck
Let me be a detective here in order to help you. How young is your client, what physiological limitiation does he have, in terms of: blood pressure, heart, joint flexibility and range of motion? Where is the ambutation, below the knee or above the knee, does his wheelchair have arms, or a big side wheel, are there any physician or physical therapy protocols available? Have you googled "exercises for ambutees?
Most tubing exercise for back, chest, triceps, and biceps can be done in a wheelchair. Abdominals, lower back and shoulders can also be wheelchair modified, as well as stretches.
Check online for seated, or ambutee youtube exercises. Explore options and modify as appropriate.
All the best
