I am starting a new health club and am looking for policies and procedures for the club
Looking for policy and procedure templete for things like:
Age Policy - 14-17 must be with an adult
Equipment cleaning and use protocol
locker room etiquette
Signing in procedures

From a personal view point I would add this:
I managed a studio for 25 years and I can say that your front desk is a crucial part of the program
Make sure your staff is friendly and they smile and greet members by name if possible.
I would implement a no cell phone employee policy during work hours.
Also, it would be great if your employees wore t shirts with the clubs name on them and a name tag.
Cleanliness is another important aspect. Dust bunnies all over the studio is not a good thing!
Clean restrooms are a must
Hand sanitizers and hand wipes for sure
Clean mirrors, mats, and machines are essential.
I used to clean my studio at least once a day.
Sign in at the front desk can now be done on a computer, and a sign in sheet for signatures.
