I am looking to expand my business and want to hire someone qualified, where should i start?

Now, its very important to know, I I only just opened I Am On A Mission, just a few weeks ago, so we are just starting out, and growing a little more everyday. Hi Jennifer, I'm not exactly sure what type of people you need to hire, but in addition to the suggestions above, try LinkedIn. I have met quite a few pro colleagues there. You can look via some of the various groups (i.e, ACE group). If you mean front desk type of people, go to places that have excellent front desk people and ask them about their friends who are similar. Good people tend to recommend good people, since their reputation is on the line. good luck with your biz!

Have you considered hiring help for the "business" side of your business, freeing up more of your time to work with clients? I know people who found great success in hiring help for the office or even in their home with cleaning, etc. and that way they could do what they love without the stress of having an employee or a partner. You have to decide if you want to become a business owner or if you really just love what you do and are spreading yourself thin in other areas that you are not as passionate about. I hope that makes sense!

Before you hire anyone you need to decide what their responsibilities will be, and specify them, and what qualifications you want them to have. You will also need to figure out how much they will be paid and make sure you are setup to do that with your bookkkeeper/payroll person. Come up with a list of interview questions to use with all candidates. Then start advertising for that person.

After looking at your profile, I noticed that you are a certified group fitness instructor. Are you looking for other group fitness instructors? If so you can narrow down your search on this site.

I like the fact that this site also allows qualified professionals to request their testimonials. What is wonderful is that IDEA Fitness Connect has set it up in such a way that the client submitting the testimonial must be the one who sets up their account and actually sends in the testimonial.

I personally think this is a good place to start.
