How to find more independent trainers...
Anyone out there own their own studio? I'm trying to figure out how to get the word out there to trainers in the area that my gym is opening up for one or two additional "independent" trainers. Any ideas?

Hello Ciara,
You might try to post your opening here with IDEA. You never know if your new potential trainer might be reading your post.
Sincerely,
Michael

Hi Ciara,
some certifying organizations have a place to post job opportunities, ISSA is one I definitely know of. Here is a link http://www.issaonline.edu/issa-business/jobs/job-submission.cfm
Good luck.

Hi Ciara,
Another suggestion would be Craigslist.

Hello Ciara Krokov,
Have you tried word of mouth and posting want ads at your facility and neighborhood businesses? You could also contact your area hiring agencies. How about want ads in the papers, big and small?
Take care.

Linkdin and Facebook are also other ways
If there are fitness conferences in your area, check them out, maybe you can put an ad in their flyer or contact the bodies of certification you are willing to hire trainers out of, maybe they will get the word out also.

Linkedin is also a great resource for posting job opportunities when you join groups. There is a PT group that I am apart of and it is a great resource!

Facebook, craigslist(use caution) utilize that social media to your advantage, and remember to post here as well!
