Hi Rhonda. There is no one answer to your question. The number of CEU's you need will depend upon the organization that you are certified through. Check on their website or give them a call. When checking, also make sure that you check on which CEU courses etc. they will accept toward your certification renewal. Like the number of CEU's needed, the CEU courses that are acceptable for your certifications are also determined by your certifying agency.

Hello Rhonda! The best thing to do is for you to contact your organization . For a NSCA PT certification, for example, you will need 6 CEUs, while ACSM, requires over 40. NSCA will also give you .5 CEU for CPR/AED certification.
