Danielle, you did the kg to lbs conversion backwards; 1 kg = 2.2 lbs. Therefore 1 lbs would be about 6 kcal.

An exact amount of actual calories burned would take into consideration a number of different individual factors.
It's certainly not 50 calories per pound myth ... but closer to the scientific estimation of 5 – 7 kilocalories per pound
