How do you "unplug" or unwind after a stressful time?
Life is all about attempting to achieve balance in all things: mind, body, spirit. What activities help you recenter or release stress. Knowing how to "let go" of tension is a challenge in itself but eventually leads to a path of increased health and self-awareness.
A great workout with my favorite tunes...relaxing at home, getting off my feet.
We all have different interests and this is not a one size fits all approach.
Personally, I enjoy going to Central Park (particularly during the summertime during the skating season (April-October) when the Central Park Dance Skater's Association skaters are in full swing. I put on my Kangoo Jumps and jumps until I've had enough. Afterwards, I go home have a hot shower and enjoy my home. That really, really works for me.
Other times, I go to my cabin in Pennsylvania in the Pocono mountains and connect with nature.
