How do I have my workshops approved so students receive cec's
I teach workshops here in the Seattle area and would like for participants to be able to receive continuing education credits for attending. What is the process of having my workshops approved by the varying accreditations?

Eric, I don't know if you need to be ACE certified in order to become a continuing education provider for ACE, however, if you visit their site which is www.acefitness.org all you need to is click the link that reads "continuing education" and begin the process.
Best to you.

To become an ACE-approved instructor you must meet the following requirements:
Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in exercise science (or a related field) or a current NCCA-accredited certification (*ACE certification preferred) or a current RYT credential (for yoga courses only).
Possess at least three years experience in the subject matter being presented.
References may be requested at ACE's discretion.
To become an ACE University Curriculum-approved instructor you must meet the following requirements:
Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in exercise science (or a related field)
Possess at least three years experience in the subject matter being presented.
References may be requested at ACE's discretion.
Although an NCCA accredited certification is not required, it is recommended, and an ACE certification is preferred. Instructors are eligible for a certification scholarship.
