I think that the concept is sound, but I don't think that there is a need to completely get rid of grains especially after working out when its time to refuel glycogen stores.
Do you think there are better foods then grains to top off glycogen stores? Maybe less gut irritating foods? I like fruits and sweet potato.
sweet potatoes are not allowed in Paleo either. Grains was a generalization, there is room for preferance. I do think though, that the only meal that this is acceptable in is post workout meal. I am not talking about endurance athletes, just anaerobic athletes.
