Do the Exam Alerts and Reviews Tests adequately prepare you for the the exam? Is the exam multiple choice only or are there some opportunites to fill in the blanks?

All multiple choice. Best to take the two day hands on class if you can. Test is very similar to the ACE exam.

Rebecca,
I have not personally taken the exam, however, I have suggestion.
You might want to visit the career guide on this portal and see if anyone has submitted a review regarding the NESTA certification.
I hope this is of help to you.
Best to you.

Yes, the review tests are adequate for scoring well on the exam.
It has 125 questions, and is a 2 hour proctored multiple choice exam.
Congratulations on being NESTA Certified! :)

I have a background in sports science and been an athlete etc...the new NESTA PT course was excellent and really comprehensive. I learnt everything in the manual and via the videos and that took me a good 2.5 months working about 2-4 hours a day. It's a lot of work to learn everything pretty much off by heart (perhaps that is not necessary to pass the test, but I want to be the best i can be), ..but don't read into people saying 'it's easy' - I take the exam next week and I heard it's not that hard.....so might be back with a review of that! Was a very thorough course and the main thing is I learnt one heck of a lot. Highly recommended!

I passsed my NASM and the practice tests are like the real test. If you do flash cards and the practice tests you should do well.
