Has anyone done an Internet Marketing Campaign? Have you tried Google Adwords? If so, how did it work out ?

I've been studying internet marketing for about 5 years now. It's extremely time consuming and the problem with it is that 'the rules' of internet marketing are constantly changing to keep up with the rapid fire pace of advances in technology.
That being said, I found one expert who is hands down the best at helping people like us: Experts.
His name is Brendan Burchard and he has a program called the 'Experts Academy' which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to become noticed as an expert in their field. Where most internet marketing is geared towards information products, Brendan focus' on helping people become speakers, authors, presenters and seminar leaders. He has very specific internet marketing methods that have helped a lot of people make a lot of money becoming recognized experts at what they love to do. It' worthwhile just to get on his list because he gives away a ton of useful tools and resources. Here's the link to his site: http://www.expertsacademy.com

Hi Kisar!
Yes, I have done internet marketing campaigns and with Google Adwords...
If you are considering it, you need to think of what you want from this perspective lead. Are you offering training? My experience has been that you don't get good leads from a cold internet ad. People buy from emotion and belief in you.
That said, what I use these type of campaigns for is getting prospects email addresses. Once you have their email address you can contact them through follow-up emails (autoresponders). You can offer a free newsletter or training e-book you create.
I did an ad on Facebook that gave away a FREE figure contest diet for them giving me their email. I got 250 email addresses in less than 30 days but it cost me $250. BUT those people on this "targeted" list are future buyers of my complete figure program, which I sold enough the next month to cover that initial investment and make a significant profit. The autoresponders are designed to get then through a funnel to trust you as an expert and buy from all the great free content you sent them.
I created a squeeze page through Optimizepress.com and linked it with my Aweber.com list service to collect their email addresses. You can create different campaigns and send various follow-ups.
The best campaigns are done with your own leads through social networks and email lists.
This kind of marketing is great for creating additional streams of income for yourself. Hope it helps your business :)
